ABOUT SOMA HOUSE
We built the place we wanted to exist.
Soma House started with a simple idea: what if taking care of yourself didn’t mean removing yourself from life? As people who care deeply about health, Andrew and Jackson had spent years visiting hotels, gyms, spas, cafés and wellness spaces around the world. There were beautiful places. Healthy places. Social places. But rarely somewhere that brought all of those things together — and did them to the standard they wanted.
So they decided to create it
Soma House is our version of what wellness should feel like: healthy, beautiful, social and genuinely fun.
A place where you can sauna and cold plunge, spend an afternoon by the pool, eat food you actually feel good about, meet interesting people, laugh, recover, work, move — or simply do absolutely nothing.
Our original brand philosophy was built around the idea that wellness is strengthened through connection rather than isolation — that shared presence, laughter and community matter too.
Health, without the obsession.
We care about the details — including the ones most people will never notice.
Our café doesn't use seed or vegetable oils or refined sugar. Recipes are created intentionally, with real ingredients and without sacrificing the reason you ordered something in the first place: because it tastes good.
Our pool uses a saltwater chlorination system. We chose not to seal our natural wood with conventional chemical finishes. From the materials around you to what goes into your food, we continually ask a simple question:
Can we do this better?
Not because we're trying to create perfection. Because when hundreds of small decisions are made with care, you can feel the difference.
That emphasis on intentional details is consistent with Soma’s original mission of combining mindful design, nourishing ingredients and shared experiences.
Community is part of wellness.
We don't believe the healthiest life is necessarily the most isolated one.
Human beings need other human beings.
That's why Soma was intentionally designed to create opportunities for connection — around a table, between sauna rounds, after a cold plunge, beside the pool, over coffee, or through experiences shared with people you might never have met otherwise.
Some conversations last five minutes.
Others become friendships that last for years.
We want to create more of the second kind.
Joy matters.
Wellness has become very serious.
We think it could use a little more laughter.
At Soma, you don't need to optimize every minute of your day or be the healthiest person in the room. You can take your health seriously without taking yourself too seriously.
Move. Sweat. Eat well. Get some sun. Meet someone new. Stay longer than you planned.
Feeling good should actually feel good.
That idea is central to Soma's brand values: joy is meant to be playful and alive rather than rigid, while community is built around care and belonging.
Welcome to Soma.
Soma House isn't about escaping your life.
It's about remembering what you want more of when you return to it.
Better health. Better people around you. More joy.
And maybe a few lifelong friendships you didn't expect to make.
